Edgardo B.'s Story
Forty and 4 years ago when the last time a set my feet on the grounds of my alma mater. The main building was made of hardwood and with faded yellowing white paint. It was a good and happy years in my life. With my fellow model cadet drilling and marching on the spacious ground every Saturday. Where I spent my growing boyhood together with my classmates, took-up pictures using the old kodak. Spending our vacant period by visiting the radio station on the top floor of the old Republic Supermarket or eating mamy and siopao in a store on Florentino Torres. Was in the lowest section of class 1965 and passed and graduated without honor....
I missed Mr. fortunato "Ato" Asuncion, Mr. Abelardo, Miss Zamia, Ms. Nicasio, Ms. Saturnino, Mr. Angeles, Sir Romero and Sir Nato Laurel. These names are synonymous with patience and perseverance because they guided us and prepared us for the sake of our future. Teachers and mentors, honorable and deserved to be called heroes. They never felt tired guiding us yet neither a rose nor a word of prayer was given........
